The Minister for Environment through the Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE) is responsible for catchment management policy and administration in Victoria. The aim of Victoria’s CMA’s is to ensure sustainable development of natural resource-based industries, the protection of land and water resources and the conservation of natural and cultural heritage.
